One of the most popular range of boots in the LOWA Collection, the Zephyr combat mid boot is worn by special forces around the world. Zephyr boots have been designed with both their wearer's comfort and safety in mind, making use of purpose-made materials and state-of-the-art footwear technology. Lightweight, hard-wearing and incredibly versatile, these Coyote Op LOWA combat boots are ideal for desert environments such as those found in the Middle East and Africa.
The result of almost 100 years of industry expertise and R&D, Zephyr mid boots can be worn comfortably in both urban and natural environments thanks to their LOWA Cross soles. With an adjusted tread made to endure hours of walking a day, the LOWA Cross protects the bottom of wearer's feet while also providing excellent grip. To ensure the longevity and durability of the LOWA Zephyr, the soles are slip lasted and injection moulded to the boot's upper.
Made from a combination of suede leather and Cordura® fabric, the Zephyr combat boot's upper is just as resilient as the LOWA Cross sole and offers a number of helpful benefits. For instance, both are inherently resistant to damage and will not easily tear if caught on jagged rocks, glass or metal. Cordura® is a tough material and though suede does offer some degree of water-resistance, it is possible to apply a waterproofing treatment such as the LOWA Water Stop Pro Spray. More than capable of keeping their wearer's feet safe, the protection provided by these two materials is complemented by the comfort afforded by the GORE-TEX® Fabric lining.
Capable of drawing moisture and heat away from the feet, GORE-TEX® Fabric membranes are remarkable because they are able to do so without letting any water, wind or outside influence in. In addition to these standard GORE-TEX® properties, the GORE-TEX® Carbon Extended Comfort Footwear membranes used in the LOWA Zephyrs also provide additional protection from warmer climates and have been designed to excel both indoors and out. All these features work together to allow wearers of the LOWA Zephyr Coyote Combat Boots to remain active for longer without feeling any discomfort, aches or pain.
